It is a strange question, because it is a contradiction in what has been asked to do. You must be a monochrome painting with three colors? Well, what I fear not that the definition of black and white as follows:

So you see, a monochrome painting is a single color (different shades of the same). The black and white is black and white because the image consists only of shades of gray.
